Hundreds of animals and birds including leopard, hyena, sambhar, jackal can be seen here. The time from November to April is ideal for a trip.
3. Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve
Mukundra Hills, located near Kota, is famous for its Himalayan greenery and peaceful environment. It is a combined form of three sanctuaries: Darra, Chambal, and Jawahar Sagar. The number of tigers is less here, but one gets a unique experience of leopard, wolf, and hundreds of birds along with the beauty of nature. 4. Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve
Located in the Bundi district and declared in 2022, Ramgarh Vishdhari is the newest tiger reserve in Rajasthan. It is like a natural wildlife corridor between Ranthambore and Mukundra. Here you can enjoy everything from tigers to deer, wild boars, and migratory birds. Its specialty is less crowd and natural beauty, which makes it a true offbeat destination.
5. Kailadevi Sanctuary
Spread over about 674 sq km, Kailadevi is in Karauli district and is located near Ranthambore. This reserve is known for its hills and ravines. The crowd here is very less, which gives a real experience of peace and nature. There are many species of hyena, wolf, leopard, and deer here. The best time is considered to be November to March.
