Jami Floyd, a contemporary of Kimberly Guilfoyle , said Donald Trump Jr 's present fiancee Kimberly has been floating the story for 25 years that Kamala Harris once denied her a job. Now that the store surfaced again ahead of Kamala Harris' presidential fight with Kimberly Guilfoyle's would be father-in-law Donald Trump, Jami said the reality was different in her piece for the Daily Beast.

Jami said she also interviewed with Hallinan where Kamala was working and Kimberly applied. No one was going to tell Hallinan whom to hire, Jami said, and Kimberly got the job.

"So what if Kamala voiced her fierce opposition all those years ago? If the story is true -- if Kamala did discourage Terence Hallinan from hiring Kimberly–maybe Kamala was just prescient. Maybe Kamala could see back then what it took me 20 years to learn. Kimberly doesn’t believe in anything but Kimberly," Jami wrote explaining that this job-snub story comes back again and again whenever Kimberly needs limelight and relevance.

Guilfoyle is engaged to Trump's oldest son Donald Trump Jr and is playing a crucial role in Donald Trump's campaign. A staunch critic of Kamala Harris, Guilfoyle came to the news recently not for anything she did -- but for something her fiance did -- getting cosy with a Bettina Anderson, a Florida socialite. Speculations were rife whether Kimberly and Donald Trump Jr will part ways but Kimberly did not make any comment on the sensational revelations. Instead, her past beef with Kamala Harris was reported by the New York Times .

Guilfoyle said when she applied for a job at San Francisco District Attorney Terence Hallinan's office, Kamala Harris called her and said she had no job there. Kimberly said Kamala Harris pretended as if she used to look after the budget of the office. “You have to understand, I came with an excellent resume, and talented women should support other talented women," Kimberly told her on the phone, as she claimed.

Kamala Harris later said she did not discourage Kimberly from the job, her call was to offer help.
