A wild elephant that tra mp led two people in the Chandia Forest range adjacent to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in MP's Umaria was successfully rescued on Sunday evening. The elephant was captured in the Khitauli forest and is now under supervision. Officials informed its a male aged around 17 years.
The operation, which involved significant resources, saw officers spending the entire day coordinating the rescue effort. This included four elephants, ten vehicles, and around 100 personnel.
