RANCHI : Jharkhand’s Ajsu Party unveiled its manifesto (Sakalp Patra) Friday for the assembly polls but a conspicuous omission among its 30 commitments was alleged Bangladeshi infiltration — the main poll plank of its NDA ally BJP.
CM Hemant Soren’s JMM seized on the missing mention, alleging Ajsu-P has “huge dif ferences” with BJP on other key matters, too. Ajsu-P insisted, however, its promises were endorsed by NDA partners.
Ajsu-P chief Sudesh Mahto stressed at the manifesto launch that his party’s “resolutions are based on local aspirations of the people of Jharkhand” and cover a range of sections, including youths, women, farmers and the poor.
