Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James took to social media to heap praise on his wife Savannah's bold fashion choice, this time at the Met Gala . After cheering Savannah about her daring pre-Met Gala outfit, a burgundy Alexander McQueen suit with a deep neckline on Sunday, LeBron shared Is excitement over Savannah's audacious look at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
LeBron was a co-chair at this year's Met Gala but had to skip the show due to his injury. Savannah, on the other hand, made a splash with her custom look, which received widespread acclaim from fashion critics and also from her husband. For the gala, Savannah wore a custom Hanifa look in a burgundy pinstripe, featuring a mesh corset midsection. This ready-to-wear womenswear label was founded in 2012 by Congolese designer Anifa Mvuemba. Notably, it marked the first time a design from this brand was showcased on the blue carpet at The Met.

Savannah revealed in an interview that she and Mvuemba aimed to do a take on the Harlem zoot suit. “I think we came up with an amazing body of work; I think the dress looks amazing,” she said. “The team did great. It’s fitting me just how I need it to fit.”
LeBron shared a video of Savannah James at the Met Gala on his Instagram Stories. While he didn't write anything with words, his use of emojis was highly expressive. LeBron James simply posted several smiling faces with heart-eyes and brown heart emojis to show his love for his wife's overall look.
