Kolkata metro railway has been observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024. This year’s theme is ‘Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity’. As part of this programme, grievance camps were organised at Dakshineswar, Noapara, and Park Street Metro station along the blue line to create awareness amongst commuters and staff against corrupt practices. This event was held under the supervision of deputy chief vigilance officer on October 30. In these camps, grievance cases as submitted by the passengers and staff, were received and examined at length for early remedial action.
