Actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have time and time again shared the headlines recently amid the divorce feud. The latest update in the feud comes from their $68 million mansion. According to reports, the separated duo are now fighting for their Beverly Hills estate.
Sale of the mansionReportedly, the ‘Good Will Hunting’ actor and Lopez had collectively listed the estate for sale more than 8 months ago; however, currently no sale has been made, and the ex-couple have now reached a standstill point in the deal.
Affleck, on one hand, is open towards lowering the asking price of the mansion, as no parties have shown interest in the sale yet. On the other hand, however, Jennifer Lopez wishes to stick to the original price itself, as per reports from TMZ.
High price of the mansion causing hindranceNot only has the couple not received any viable offers about the purchase of the mansion, but various agents apparently have also suggested that the couple reduce the overall prices by 15% at a minimum to see any kind of traction. Originally, the couple had spent around $60.85 million for the space when they initially purchased it in May 2023.
Other than the asking price itself, many buyers have also been deterred by the overall rise in insurance costs, which is estimated to fall at a whopping $500,000. According to a report from Pinkvilla, the mansion is said to consist of at least 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, along with various other features and amenities. The property also spans at least 38,000 square feet of ground.
