PGIMER releases CBT schedule for Group B and C posts; admit cards soon at pgimer.edu.in

PGIMER admit card 2025: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has released the Computer-Based Test (CBT) schedule for various Group B and C posts. The examination is being conducted for recruitment at PGIMER, Chandigarh as well as its Satellite Centre in Sangrur, Punjab.

As per the official notice, the CBT will be held on November 20 and November 22, 2025, in multiple shifts across various cities. The admit cards for the CBT will soon be made available at the official website — pgimer.edu.in. Candidates will receive login credentials through their registered mobile numbers and email IDs.

CBT to be conducted for multiple posts at PGIMER and PGI Satellite Centre
The CBT is scheduled for various Group B and C positions including:
• Junior Technician (Lab)
• Legal Assistant
• Junior Technician (X-ray)
• Dental Hygienist Grade-II
• Store Keeper
• Assistant Dietician
• Receptionist
• Nursing Officer
• Junior Auditor

The exams will be conducted in designated shifts over two days. On November 20, 2025, the morning shift will cover Junior Technician (Lab) and Legal Assistant, while the afternoon shift will include Junior Technician (X-ray) and Dental Hygienist Grade-II.

On November 22, 2025, the morning shift is scheduled for Store Keeper, Assistant Dietician, and Receptionist, while the afternoon session will be for Nursing Officer and Junior Auditor posts.

Examination cities and test centre allocation
The CBT will be conducted across several cities. These include chandigarh/mohali (with adjoining areas such as ambala, patiala, jalandhar, phagwara, amritsar, pathankot, bhatinda, moga, and kurukshetra), delhi/NCR, hyderabad, and kolkata (including hoogly, howrah, and burdwan).

PGIMER has clarified that examination cities mentioned are provisional and subject to change depending on the availability of nodes and technical resources. In some cases, due to the limited availability of infrastructure or low candidate numbers in a city, nearby alternatives have been allotted.

Admit card download and key instructions
Admit cards will be available shortly at pgimer.edu.in. Candidates must download the admit card using the user ID and password sent to their registered mobile numbers and email addresses. PGIMER has stated that the admit card will not be downloadable via mobile phones.

It will include details such as roll number, exam date, shift, reporting time, and test centre location. Candidates are advised to make travel arrangements in advance, as requests for change of centre will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on merit. The result of the CBT is expected to be declared within 15 days of the examination.


Steps to check and download PGIMER Group B and C admit cards
Step 1: Visit the official PGIMER website at pgimer.edu.in.
Step 2: Click on the link related to "Admit Card for Group B and C Recruitment CBT 2025".
Step 3: Enter your User ID and Password as received on your registered mobile number and email.
Step 4: Click on "Download Admit Card" and verify all the details mentioned.
Step 5: Print a hard copy of the admit card. Ensure it is clear and readable for entry into the test centre.
