Ranchi: After becoming the first district hospital in Jharkhand to perform three immediate dental implants, the Ranchi sadar hospital is set to open the state's first public Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) centre, enhancing dental diagnostics and treatment planning capabilities. The upcoming dental lab is in its final stages of preparation and is expected to become functional later this year. Civil surgeon Dr Prabhat Kumar said the facility, once functional, will provide affordable dental treatment to all. "At present, private clinics charge between Rs 30,000-Rs 80,000 for tooth implants," he said. The CBCT will also include a dedicated root canal treatment room,TNN
