Cole Bridges, also known as Cole Gonzalez, a US Army soldier, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for attempting to provide tactical guidance to the Islamic State (ISIS) militant group to plan an attack on US soldiers deployed in the Middle East. Bridges, a 24-year-old from Stow, Ohio, pleaded guilty to terrorism charges on June 13, 2023. He has been serving in the US Army since 2019.
