Visionary businessman and philanthropist Ratan Tata died on Wednesday. The Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus passed away at the age of 86. He breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Condolences have been pouring in on social media with prominent personalities remembering the legendary industrialist's extraordinary contribution to the development of our nation. Actress Anushka Sharma wrote, "Deeply saddened by the tragic news of Shri Ratan Tata. He upheld the values of integrity, grace & dignity through everything he did & was truly an icon & Taj of India. RIP Sir A, You have touched so many lives."

As per reports, Tata had been undergoing treatment for age-related issues. The doctors had been trying to control his blood pressure. His condition was critical and he died after a sudden dip in blood pressure.
