Paithani, starring Mrinal Kulkarni and Eisha Singh, will release on Zee5 on November 15. Directed by National Award winner Gajendra Ahire, the new series follows the emotional journey of Godavari (Kulkarni), a globally famous handloom artist and her daughter, Kaveri (Singh). Mrinal Kulkarni and Eisha Singh star in PaithaniThe trailer of Paithani introduces us to the close bond between mother and daughter. The series also features the tradition of the Paithani saree from the state of Maharashtra which is handwoven with great care and precision. Mrinal Kulkarni's Godavari is a master weaver of traditional Paithani sarees who finds herself at the end of her career.Her daughter Kaveri, played by Eisha Singh, wants to honour her mother's legacy by gifting her a saree. But will her mission be successful? Ahire's show also features Shivam Bhargava as Vinay Bhanushali, Syed Zafar Ali as Nana and Sangeeta Balachandran as Ganga Ajji. Eisha was last seen in the Jio Cinema series Jab Mila Tu opposite Mohsin Khan.
