JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria Revised, Number of Attempts Increased to 3

JEE advanced 2025 eligibility criteria is released with some significant changes. The India Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur is the organising institute for JEE advanced 2025. As per the new update, the number of attempts has increased to three times in three consecutive years from twice in two consecutive years.IIT Kanpur has also launched the new JEE advanced 2025 website and the candidates can check related updates on jeeadv.ac.in. As of now, the eligibility criteria and JEE advanced 2025 syllabus are released.

JEE Advanced 2025 exam dateIIT Kanpur has not announced the JEE advanced 2025 exam date yet. As per the trends, IIT JEE is conducted in line with JEE Mains January and April sessions. It is expected that this year also JEE advanced will be held in May. JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria JEE Mains 2025: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. paper (Paper I) of JEE (Main) 2025. Age Limit for JEE Advanced: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates Number of attempts: Candidates can now attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of three times in three consecutive years. Class 12th eligibility: A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjectsThis is to be noted that the aforementioned eligibility criteria are basic and for a detailed description, candidates can visit the official website of JEE advanced 202- to check the eligibility criteria.
