Jammu Schools will oberve a 5-day holiday for Pooja.The Directorate of School Education, DSEJ has announced that all educational institutes upto higher secondary levels of Jammu Division will remain closed between October 29 and November 2. The schools will reopen on November 4, 2024 after pooja break.DSEJ in an official notice mentioned, "It is nearby ordered all the Educational institutions Government/ Private upto Higher Secondary levels (Summer/ Winter zones) of Jammu Divison shall observe five (5) days Pooja Holidays w.e.f October 29 to November 2, 2024." Government and all private schools in Jammu division will remain closed for a total of 5 days. Last year as well, DSEJ announced holiday for students and teachers and gave them time to celebrate with family and rest. Following past trends, any extention in holiday is not expected, however, students are advised to keep a check on DSEJ’s official website for latest updates. Tamil Nadu School Holiday Announced For DiwaliTamil Nadu schools, colleges as well as government offices will remain closed on November 1. The State Government has declared November 1 as a public holiday to let people celebrate Diwali and return. The government hopes this additional holiday will provide them with more time to return home without being anxious about returning to work the very next day. However, this is not a bonus holiday as to balance out, the next Saturday to Diwali, i.e., November 9, will be observed as a normal working day. To read more about it,
