BTS' J-Hope Recalls Military Term In Heartfelt First Instagram Post After Discharge, ARMY In Awe

BTS member J-Hope went down the memory lane with a slew of clicks from his past 18-months of military enlistment. In the first social media post after getting discharged on October 17, the rapper left ARMY in awe by remembering his fun-filled moments from his mandatory military term.

J-Hope's first social media post after his returnOn his Instagram account, the 30-year-old shared clicks in uniform that showed him with his army friends, his happy-sad moments during the service, and the exuberant welcome he received on his comeback on Thursday. Hobi captioned the post, "2023.4.18 ~ 2024.10.17 🇰🇷🫡" that indicated the duration of his military time. ALSO READ:

J-Hope's military dischargeEarlier in the day, J-Hope exited his army base and was welcomed by Jin, who was the first BTS member to complete his military term in June 12, 2024. Dressed in his uniform and saluting on cameras, J-Hope thanked his fans and the citizens of Wonju for cheering for him during his service period."I was able to finish the service well and in good health thank to the fans," he said, before adding, "While I was serving for 1.5 years as an assistant drill instructor, I did a lot of marches and met quite a lot of citizens of Wonju along the way. They always greeted the soldiers and cheered us on. I wanted to say thank you to the citizens. It was really really moving and I don't know how to express this warm emotion for them," he said before heading back to HYBE's headquarters. He took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of his discharge. Along with that he wrote, "Congratulations friend." He also teased his own return by adding, "I'll also be going after you quick."
