Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch a new residential plot scheme during Diwali 2024, offering 821 plots in Sectors 18 and 24A, conveniently located near the upcoming Noida International Airport. YEIDA officials have confirmed that the scheme will focus on smaller plot sizes to meet increasing demand. The brochure for the 821 plots has already been finalised, reflecting the strong response to the previous residential plot scheme in September, which received over 200,000 applications for 361 plots near the airport. This new initiative will provide a variety of plot sizes in Sectors 18 and 24A, addressing the high demand for residential options in the expanding airport area.
YEIDA Plot Scheme Launch DateAs per reports, applications for the scheme opened on October 31, 2024, and will close on November 30, 2024. The draw for the plots is scheduled for December 27. Plot sizes and availabilityThe scheme will feature plots in four sizes: 120 square metres (sqm), 162 sqm, 200 sqm, and, for the first time, 250 sqm. In Sector 24A, there will be 344 plots available, while Sector 18's Blocks 9A and 9B will offer 477 plots. Residential Demand in the YEIDA AreaThe area surrounding the Noida International Airport, which includes the planned international film city, has generated considerable interest among homebuilders. Many buyers view this as an excellent opportunity to invest in a developing urban hub, with the airport expected to commence operations by April 2025.You may also like
