Euphoria is poised to make a comeback in Spring 2026 after a four-year break, with HBO fans eagerly awaiting the launch of season 3. The popular teen drama is set to welcome several high-profile stars and will reportedly leap forward in time, moving the characters beyond their high school years.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that numerous big-name actors would be joining the series, including Sharon Stone, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and singer Rosalia. Other returning cast members include well-known actress Sydney Sweeney, as well as Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer and Colman Domingo.
Storm Reid, who portrayed Zendaya's on-screen sister, confirmed last year that she will not return to her role, while Fezco actor Angus Cloud tragically died at the age of 25 after season 2 aired.
HBO has announced that 18 fresh faces will join the Euphoria ensemble, making it one of the most star-studded series of the coming year, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Hollywood icon Natasha Lyonne, known for her roles in Netflix's Russian Doll and Orange is the New Black, as well as American Pie and His Three Daughters, is set to join the cast.
Another Netflix star, Madison Thompson from Ozark, will also join the lineup, along with Gideon Adlon from The Society and Hemky Madera from Kaleidoscope.
Jessica Blair Herman, known for her role in How I Met Your Mother and her marriage to Downton Abbey's Allen Leech, will also feature alongside Richard Gere's son, Homer Gere.
Cailyn Rice, known for her role in the Yellowstone spin-off 1923, has been announced as a new addition to the cast, alongside Danielle Deadwyler from The Piano Lesson and Eli Roth, the actor and horror film director known for Inglourious Basterds.
Joining them will be popular YouTuber Trisha Paytas, Kwame Patterson from The Wire, Sam Trammell of True Blood fame, Rebecca Pidgeon from The Unit, and NFL star Matthew Willig.
The new cast is completed by Bill Bodner, Jack Topalian from General Hospital, and Bella Podaras, known for her role in Ashley: Garcia: Genius in Love.

Euphoria delves into the tumultuous lives of a group of American high school classmates as they grapple with partying, sex, drugs, and the trials of growing up.
The synopsis from Rotten Tomatoes reads: "An American adaptation of the Israeli show of the same name, Euphoria follows the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean.
"Circling in Rue's orbit are Jules, a transgender girl searching for where she belongs; Nate, a jock whose anger issues mask sexual insecurities; Chris, a football star who finds the adjustment from high school to college harder than expected; Cassie, whose sexual history continues to dog her; and Kat, a body-conscious teen exploring her sexuality.
"As the classmates struggle to make sense of their futures, the series tackles the teenage landscape of substance-enhanced parties and anxiety-ridden day-to-day life with empathy and candor."
Euphoria is available to watch on Sky and NOW in the UK or HBO Max in the US.
