Travelling with little ones can sometimes be stressful - and on occasion extremely expensive. However, a new study has revealed that UK families may not need to fork out hundreds or thousands for abroad to keep children entertained.
New research has found that a is the most "boredom-busting" destination across the entire globe. Experts at analysed hundreds of thousands of reviews from more than 160 global destinations to find the spots where parents said their children "loved it" and where they were bored.

The spots were ranked and out of the top 10, 70% were theme parks, indicating that children in fact prefer theme park holidays over any other type of holiday. Perhaps surprisingly, appearing alongside Disney World and Universal Orlando, was Blackpool's Pleasure Beach. And not only did it make the top three - but it actually ranked the highest.
Each destination was given a "Boredom-Banish Score" out of 35 and managed to get an impressive 31.3.
Oliver Brendon, CEO of Attraction Tickets said: "Nowadays, keeping children entertained on holiday is more challenging than ever. With many kids accustomed to the instant gratification of iPad games and interactive television shows, traditional holiday moments, such as lounging by the pool or playing on the beach, often aren't enough to hold their attention."
He noted that Blackpool Pleasure Beach provides "high levels of interactivity and imagination" which is great for parents who are wanting to break their children's screen habits.
The Lancashire attraction which boasts the largest collection of wooden rollercoasters of any park in the country, welcomes a huge six million visitors a year. With over 125 rides it also has the country's only Nickelodeon Land.
