A murder inquiry has been launched after a pensioner in his 60s was fatally attacked on a South London street.
Officers were initially summoned to Balham High Road at approximately 3.40pm on Sunday, August 24.
The victim, subsequently identified by authorities as James Gbadamosi, was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries almost two weeks later on Friday, September 5. Specialist officers are now providing support to his family.
A 37-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder, whilst a 30-year-old woman was apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, reports MyLondon.
Investigators are appealing for anyone possessing CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam footage or Ring doorbell recordings of the incident to preserve and submit them to the police as part of the inquiry.

DCI Matthew Denby said: "This is an incredibly sad incident where a 67-year-old man has lost his life after being seriously assaulted following a dispute in the street. We are working at pace on what is now a murder investigation.
"Were you in the area or on Balham High Road on Sunday, 24 August? If so, we really need your help.
"If you have any mobile phone or dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, please send it to police. It could be critical evidence.
"Anyone who has yet to speak to us is urged to come forward immediately.
"My team are working to provide James' family with answers and the public could have valuable information that will help our investigation."
