has offered an update on his condition after limping his way to victory over Tommy Paul in the Italian Open semi-finals. He battled back from a set down to secure a 1-6 6-0 6-3 win over his American rival despite having to play through pain. It saw him book his place in Sunday's final, where he will face .
Sinner was in visible discomfort during his match against Paul, raising fears that he may have been carrying an injury. He was seen limping on several occasions but was quick to downplay concerns after stepping off the court. He made it clear that he was not worried, revealing that a blister on his foot was the source of the pain.

"Since the third round I have a small blister under my feet which doesn't allow me that well to move at some moments," explained Sinner. "Today I felt it more than yesterday, and it's connected with that. Likewise, I am not concerned. Just a bit tight.
"It's normal but I have to take care of this blister. There are no excuses. With the adrenaline, there is going to be a lot of energy on Sunday and I am 100 per cent not concerned."
Sinner will need to be at full fitness to stand the best chance of overcoming Alcaraz in Sunday's final. He has only won four times in their 10 meetings and his most recent defeat came at the hands of the Spaniard last October.
Since then, Sinner has gone on a 26-match winning streak, an impressive run spanning five tournaments. He is playing at his first event since coming back from a three-month suspension for returning two positive doping tests in 2024.
Looking ahead to his showdown with Alcaraz, Sinner said: "Yeah, different feeling. We know each other quite well now. It's always special to share the court with him.
"I feel like we both know how to play against each other a little bit, so we have to be prepared tactically. Of course, small things are going to be changed, but it's just a great test for me to see where I am.
"It's great for me to play against Carlos before the two Grand Slams. That for me is good because I see where I have to improve, what I have to do better. Hopefully it's going to be a good match. I feel like this is the most important part.
"In any case, what's coming out Sunday, a great tournament from my side, making such a run here, it feels good."
