Former cruiserweight world champ Tony Bellew has issued a stark warning to YouTube star-turned-boxer , saying he'd be "eaten alive" in the boxing ring with him.

'The Problem Child' Jake Paul is gearing up for a blockbuster encounter with , with the pair set to clash on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas, in front of a bumper crowd of 90,000. Paul's journey from internet sensation to professional boxer has seen him lock horns with figures such as Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz.

Boasting a record of 10-1, his sole blemish was delivered by last year via a points decision.

The matchup between the internet phenomenon and heavyweight legend was originally slated for July but was postponed when Tyson succumbed to an ulcer flare-up, pausing his training regime. 'Iron Mike', however, has resumed his fitness endeavours and is adamant about making a formidable comeback to the squared circle shortly.

Criticism has been levelled at the fight's confirmation amidst concerns over Tyson's wellbeing after the former heavyweight world champion, aged 58, revealed post-sparring difficulties in walking. Doubts linger over whether Tyson will be robust enough for the fight, creating speculation that it might face cancellation once more.

Notwithstanding the scepticism and Tyson's seasoned years, Paul remains confident in Tyson's fitness, stating that the boxing titan is thriving in his preparations. It's Mike Tyson or nothing," Paul declared, emphasising the main event draw. "But first and foremost, he's healthy and feeling amazing and doing great in camp."

Bellew has once again expressed his disdain for Paul's boxing ventures, suggesting that the YouTuber is avoiding real challenges in the ring. In candid remarks to Safest Casino Sites, he declared: "Listen, everyone's got a price, but he [Jake Paul] would never fight me, I would eat him alive.

"Just face a real boxer. I'll tell you what, just come over to England, get a licence and try and win an English title. If you can win an English title or the British title, I'll take my hat off to you. Or go do it in the USA, do where you're from.

"Win the US Cruiserweight title. As soon as he steps in with anyone who has any kind of reasonable boxing experience he's had it. He's getting taken to school."

The former British boxing champion is evidently unimpressed by Paul's upcoming bout with Tyson, clearly indicating his willingness to replace Tyson should the opportunity arise, albeit for the right sum.

Bellew stated back in September: "I've got no real hunger or desire to face Jake Paul if I'm being totally honest. Do I want to? No, not really. But would I? Yes. Everyone's got a price. I would, yeah, absolutely, but do I want to? Not really, no."
