luxurious £12million superyacht arrived at the yesterday. The Red Bull star finally got his hands on a Mangusta GranSport 33 days before heading to the principality.
Verstappen is reported to have placed the order for the boat two years ago. He and partner Kelly Piquet were able to collect it from the Italian port city of Viareggio and the Mangusta shipyard a few months ago. The vessel is custom-made to fit the Formula One star's demands and its rear features the words 'Unleash The Lions', the name given to it by Verstappen. Now situated on the dock in Monaco ahead of the weekend's Grand Prix, fans have been able to see it for the first time.
Up to 12 guests can stay in the 109-foot, five-cabin boat. Although it is unclear exactly what the interior of Verstappen's boat looks like, similar ones feature stunning modern designs.
According to sport and business journalist , Verstappen is likely set to spend at least £738,000 in annual upkeep. But that certainly seems worth the cost to spend time in the remarkable boat.
A video shared online of a different Mangusta GranSport 33 shows incredible interior design, with a magnificent lounge area primed for guests to enjoy a lavish dinner. There is a pool on the bottom deck and a balcony overlooking the sea. Verstappen and his guests will certainly get a fantastic view.
There are staterooms, a salon and a beach club, on which other similar vessels are able to store speed boats. The matte black exterior gives the impression of a bullet racing over the water.

Verstappen can certainly afford the eye-watering sums he spent on the yacht. He is F1's highest-earning driver, taking home a little under £58m per year, according to Forbes. The boat is one of many luxury items owned by the 27-year-old.
He owns a Dassault Falcon 900EX private jet, purchased from Richard Branson for £12m. In 2023, he was forced to dispel a rumour regurgitated by Helmut Marko that he had a race simulator on the plane.
"That was Helmut I think who said that, but I think he misunderstood, because I was talking to him last year," Verstappen said. "I'm building a new motorhome for travelling through Europe to the F1 races and I said I will install one there because I just can keep on driving when I'm back in the evening.
"Because I like it, it's my hobby in a way, and it just keeps you sharp as well. So I think he misunderstood, and he said plane! So I'm not installing one in my plane. I think that will be a bit absurd."
