BBC presenter Amol Rajan, who is best known for hosting BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, lives in London with his wife Charlotte Faircloth and their four children, all under the age of eight. The presenter is notoriously private about his personal life, but during the his fans were given an insight into his cosy home.
The large space encompasses a bold approach to colour, as the couple has incorporated bright tones and vivid patterns throughout. Amol and his wife shared snippets of their daily life during 2021, which included Sunday roasts in their gorgeous kitchen, as well as cocktails in the living room after a hard day's work hosting on the .
The BBC star grew up in Tooting, but settled in posh London borough Islington, and regularly cycles up to Alexandra Palace to soak up the view. According to Rightmove, house prices in Islington have an overall average of £835,409 over the last year.
Amol previously discussed the timing of feeding newborn babies while showcasing his cosy bedroom decor, which features blue and white patterned bedding. In another image, it highlights his collection of books, which is accompanied by a wooden bedside table and yellow and white patterned curtains in the backdrop. The room's cream walls and coordinating cream carpet provide a neutral canvas that enhances the vibrant furnishings.
Living RoomAmol and Charlotte's living room encompasses a grey button-back sofa, which is complimented by an array of colorful cushions. The cushions include a vibrant floral design in shades of yellow, pink, and blue, as well as one adorned with orange fringes, adding a lively touch to the space. This arrangement reflects the design patterns present throughout their home.

Amol and his family have created a spacious outdoor patio area that offers ample room for relaxation and dining. The patio is equipped with a wooden dining set and a cream-colored parasol, providing shade during sunny days. In addition, there is a large black outhouse featuring glass doors. The design incorporates half-brick walls paired with trellis structures along the edges, which allows for climbing plants. There are also various flowers placed in ornate black pots atop the walls.
The outside area is a treasured place for Amol's children, and the presenter has previously shared the difficulties his wife experienced going through IVF to conceive, after being told parenthood wouldn't happen" for the couple.
He told the Comfort Eating podcast: "I don't really talk about this very much publicly...my wife and I were going through hellish medical treatment to try and have more children.
'That was really exhausting. In fact, the whole time I was editor of The Independent, we were going through really tough stuff."
