Claudia Winkleman made her triumphant return to the Scottish Highlands last week, as 19 famous faces prepared to deceive, double-cross and manipulate their way to securing £100,000 for their chosen charity.
The nation fell head over heels for the The Traitors when it debuted in 2022, and now the cherished murder mystery competition has come back stronger than ever with its celebrity edition.
Following Paloma Faith's shocking murder at the hands of Traitors Alan Carr, Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross, the remaining contestants made their way to the roundtable for the first banishment ceremony.
Tensions mounted amongst the stars as they began spotting suspicious patterns of behaviour, with last week's dramatic cliffhanger suggesting either Kate Garraway or Niko Omilana faced elimination, reports the Daily Record.
Ultimately, YouTuber Niko secured the highest number of votes, with his fellow players convinced he possessed the qualities of an "excellent" Traitor, whilst also highlighting his track record with elaborate pranks.
EastEnders star Tameka Empson became the second contestant to face banishment on Wednesday (October 15), after Kate, Charlotte Church, Mark Bonnar and Nick Mohammed all voted against her.
After her departure, Tameka made an appearance on ITV's This Morning on Thursday (October 16), discussing her brief time within the castle walls.
"I'm very emotional. I'm up and down. You don't want to hear your name, not so early, do you know what I mean?" she confessed to presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

"From one person, okay. But from four? I'm like, 'Huh?' It took a moment for it to register... I would have liked to have thought that I would have seen something before I called it out, because people slip up all the time."
The 48-year-old actress also disclosed that she reckons Cat Burns will walk away with all the prize money in the final, as she is "so under the radar" as a Traitor.
"She is so clever. Just how she's playing it, she's playing it just right. She's not out there, she's not too quiet. I think she's got the best equilibrium," she added.
Discussing her "shock" after discovering who the Traitors were, Tameka went on: "Cat in particular. That girl, I can't look at her in the same way."
At the conclusion of last night's episode, Jonathan, Alan and Cat gathered once more in the Traitors' Turret to deliberate over who to murder next.
Ruth Codd, David Olusoga and Charlotte Church are all in the firing line ahead of tonight's episode. But who will make it to breakfast safely?
