The delightful Baggs family, having charmed the nation since their debut and later dominating TikTok, have also ventured into the podcasting arena with "Not My Bagg," featuring an array of star-studded interviews.
Comprising Terry, Lisa, and sons Joe and George, they became household favourites from 2020 but bid farewell to viewers in 2022 after a three-series run.
Despite leaving our television screens, the Baggs have continued to captivate over 360K TikTok followers and podcast listeners alike. However, following their exit from the show, there was a surprising revelation of another brother out of the limelight.
Danny Bayley, Lisa's eldest 34 year old son from a previous relationship, made his introduction via a festive TikTok video which saw him dancing alongside George and Joe. The accompanying text raised eyebrows: "When the secret brother who wasn't allowed on Gogglebox comes over for Christmas."
Joe humorously remarked, "Danny really stole the show with this one," whereas Lisa chimed in with endearing comments: "My babies" and "My secret son."
The intrigue around Danny's absence from Gogglebox has sparked curiosity among fans, as highlighted in a report by OK!, reports .
Previously, Joe opened up about his family's decision to leave Gogglebox during an interview on The Useless Hotline podcast, explaining, "We decided that there were things we wanted to do that we couldn't do while we were on the show. There is a reason why there's not many young people on there."
He ascribed this shift to the era of social media, a domain where he and George have really hit their stride. Joe realised he had to say goodbye to the Gogglebox days, which were synonymous with "coming home every week and eating a takeaway."
Eager for new adventures, he shared his eagerness to branch out. Despite their departure, Joe made it clear that his family treasured the experience on Gogglebox, labelling it the "opportunity of a lifetime."
Joe's leap seems to be a success story, with him amassing two million followers on TikTok, and landing deals with giants like Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, Burger King, and Fanta. His sibling George isn't far behind, boasting a hefty 1.6 million admirers himself.
