GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes lost it with a heckler who yelled questions at King Charles over Prince Andrew's association with Jeffrey Epstein. The host had a brutal two-word nickname for the member of the public who, outside Lichfield Cathedral yesterday, yelled: "Have you asked the police to cover up for Andrew? Should MPs be allowed to debate the royals in the House of Commons?"
The King was on a royal visit on October 27, and refused to respond to the comments. But a furious Eamonn wasn't happy with the way things panned out, as he explained on his breakfast show: "The King was heckled about his brother's links to Jeffrey Epstein during a visit to Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire yesterday. Here's what happened."
A clip was then shown of the heckler yelling at King Charles, as the crowd around him told him to be quiet.
Back in the studio, Eamonn fumed: "Oh shut up!" as his co-star Ellie Costello chimed in: "The crowd turned on that protester, though!"
Eamonn agreed: "They did, you can see it there. There's a time and a place for everything, but that's not about the King or it's not about the scandal, that's about him. That's about big mouth in the crowd there, just wanting attention for himself."
Andrew has vehemently denied all allegations of wrongdoing, which have been repeated in Virginia Giuffre's posthumously published memoir. She claimed to have sex with the prince on three occasions, including one allegation that involved Epstein and "eight other young girls".
Andrew reached a financial settlement with Ms Giuffre in 2022 and insisted in 2019 that they "never had any sort of sexual contact" and he did not remember meeting her "at all".
