Is there anything better than a day at the British seaside? Whether you can't wait for that first portion of fish and chips, a dip in the sea or a Mr Whippy, there's a lot to look forward to.
So where are the best places to hit the beach in England this summer?
England has over 70 Blue Flag beaches so there are a lot of spots to choose from. Blue Flag beaches have to meet a stringent set of environmental, safety and accessibility criteria to qualify.
Blue Flag beaches should have clean water and be safe for all to access, making them ideal for a family day at the coast. This is the most recent list of Blue Flag beaches from 2023 and the 2024 list has yet to be announced.
