Chris Hughes' brother responds to Celebrity Big Brother 'romance' rumours

Chris Hughes' brother has spoken out about the Love Island star's relationship with JoJo Siwa on Celebrity Big Brother.

The reality TV star formed a close friendship with the Dance Moms icon after he defended her from Mickey Rourke's "inappropriate and offensive" remarks last week.

During Sunday (April 13) night's episode, viewers caught Chris tenderly stroking JoJo's back as they lay next to each other in bed, leading to speculation about their relationship.

The next day, Chris confessed he "missed" JoJo while he was asleep, prompting her playful query about why she didn't appear in his dreams.

On Monday's (April 14) edition of Lorraine, Chris's brother Ben addressed the speculation about his brother's relationship with JoJo, reports

"The other thing that's got people talking, Ben, is Chris and this back tickling last night with JoJo," host Kate Garraway said, before footage of the pair's interaction played out on screen.

"We know that they are close but there they are lying in bed, he's tickling her back. What's going on there?"

"I actually think that maybe they've just formed a great friendship due to the fact that Chris stood up for JoJo. I think JoJo is in a solid relationship, Chris will know that. I just think that they've got each other's backs," Ben replied.

"Literally as it turns out," Kate interjected, with Ben adding: "There's so many older members of the house there. They're a couple of the youngest and they've stood up for each other most of the first week.

"I think they've just bonded really well, and they've got a really good friendship which will probably come away from the house as well. It will be nice to see."

After watching Chris and JoJo's interaction last night, legions of CBB fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the pair's relationship.

"Oooo the chemistry between JoJo and Chris. What's going on there?" enquired one user, with another chiming in: "What the hell is going on with JoJo and Chris."

One intrigued fan remarked: "JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes cuddling in bed?!? This is a plot twist I did not see coming," while someone else echoed the excitement: "This is so bizarre I love Big Brother."

Chiming with the general consensus, another follower commented: "The Chris and JoJo friendship is totally random but I love it so much."
