Aldi shoppers could be owed £100 if they're at the till during this exact moment

Aldi customers could bag themselves up to £100 in vouchers this summer. However, this is only if they find themselves at the till during a very specific time. As the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 tournament kicks off this week, Aldi is giving shoppers a unique chance to score a free shop but only if they're in the checkout queue at the precise moment England's Lionesses or Wales' Dragons score a goal. It's bad luck if you're a football fan running late and miss the goal, but great luck if you're already at Aldi, ready to snap up your vouchers just in time.

If shoppers are in an Aldi store at the exact minute a home nation scores, they can claim up to £100 back in Aldi vouchers by simply sending a photo of their receipt to MissedAGoal@aldi.co.uk. The promotion applies throughout the football tournament, with the first matches for Wales and England taking place this Saturday at 5pm and 8pm respectively.

If a customer's receipt timestamp matches the minute an England or Wales goal is scored, they're eligible.

The first two shoppers per goal can claim up to £100 back in Aldi vouchers.

This year, the championship starts tomorrow, on July 2, until the end of the month, on July 27.

Communications Director at Aldi UK, Rebecca Heley, said: "We're backing the Lionesses and the Dragons all the way this summer and we want to make sure our shoppers enjoy the games too.

"We've got a wide range of products in store to help people celebrate the Women's Euros across the country, and for anyone shopping with us while the action's unfolding - whether they've popped out to top up on match-day snacks or are watching along on-the-go - we're giving Aldi customers another reason to cheer when one of our home nations scores this summer!"

To help fans celebrate, Aldi is also offering a selection of match day essentials in stores, from Specially Selected Chilled Mozzarella & Tomato Pizza to Snackrite Tortilla Chips and Sainte Etienne Premium Lager.

The UEFA Women's EURO 2025 tournament kicks off in Switzerland, running until July 27 across eight host cities including Basel, Bern, and Geneva.

Sixteen teams will compete in this 14th edition, with England, Wales, France, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland among the contenders.
