A shocking incident has come to light in the temple of Maa Ratangarh Devi located in Ward 15 of Lahar Nagar in Bhind district. On the occasion of Navratri, a devotee cut his tongue and offered it to the goddess due to his faith and belief. Tongue offered in the temple:  This incident is of Maa Ratangarh Devi temple of ward 15 of Lahar town, which was built by late Dhaniram Shakya on his personal land in the year 2015. The consecration of Devi Maa was done in the temple on 21st March 2015. The temple priest Jaikishan Shakya told that on the occasion of Navratri, Jawar was sown in the temple. On the night of Panchami, a tableau of Jawar was decorated and devotees were present in the temple for darshan. During this time, Ramsharan Bhagat, who lives near the temple, cut his tongue of more than three inches and offered it in front of the idol of Maa Ratangarh Devi. He kept his cut tongue in a skull, which filled with blood. This incident shocked the people present in the temple, but people considered it a symbol of Ramsharan's deep faith and devotion.

Local people are considering it a symbol of his deep faith and unwavering belief in Goddess Maa. His faith and devotion towards Goddess Maa is immense, and due to this faith, he cut his tongue and offered it to the Goddess.
