A sub-inspector has been suspended due to corruption in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Sub-inspector Nazuddin Khan has been posted in the SP office. During his service, he received a salary of 30 lakhs but during the same period, the sub-inspector also spent 1 crore 64 lakh rupees. Where did that money come from? The sub-inspector was asked to answer this. But he could not give a satisfactory answer. Then an FIR was registered against the sub-inspector and he was suspended.
Since he originally lives in Jhansi, an FIR was lodged against him in the Jhansi office of the Anti-Corruption Organization on Saturday. The investigation of this case will be done from the Lucknow headquarters of the Anti-Corruption Organization.
According to the FIR, the Jhansi unit had conducted an investigation after Jhansi resident Nazuddin Khan was accused of earning more property than his income. The investigation found that Nazuddin, who was posted in the office of SP Hardoi, had an income of Rs 30 lakh 3 thousand 567 from legitimate sources during his service period. Whereas, he spent Rs 1 crore 64 lakh 4 thousand 98 on his movable and immovable property. In this way, he spent Rs 1 crore 34 lakh 531 more.
The inspector was suspended.
Nazuddin did not give any satisfactory answer in this regard. Nazuddin has been dismissed from the department. Jhansi unit has lodged an FIR against the inspector. On the order of ADG, the investigation of this case has been given to the Headquarters Anti-Corruption Organization Lucknow. Further action is underway in the case.
