Maruti Suzuki eVX Electric Car Launch: Maruti Suzuki has completed preparations to launch its first electric car. Its first electric car eVX will be showcased tomorrow i.e. on 4th November. The curtain will be lifted on eVX in the event to be held in Milan city of Italy. For Suzuki, this battery-powered car is important not only for India but also for the global market. In India, it will compete with electric cars of companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra.

The Maruti eVX that will be presented in Milan is its final production version. This model will be sold in the market. A large part of the Made-in-India Maruti eVX will be exported. This electric SUV made in India will be exported to Europe and Japan.

The specifications of Maruti Suzuki eVX have not been fully revealed yet. According to media reports, Maruti's new electric car can be offered with two battery pack options - 48kWh and 60kWh. Once fully charged, this car will potentially cover a distance of about 500 kilometers.

Its expected features may include a large floating-type touchscreen infotainment system, newly designed dashboard and control switches, rotary dial for driving modes leather seats, etc. Apart from this, features like a two-spoke steering wheel and automatic climate control can also be provided in the upcoming electric car.

India Mobility Global Expo 2025

Maruti Suzuki eVX will be produced at Maruti Suzuki's Gujarat plant. This work can start in March 2025. eVX will be showcased in Italy on November 4, while in India this electric car can be unveiled at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 to be held in January 2025. Apart from existing electric cars like the Tata Curvv EV, eVX will also compete with upcoming electric cars like the Creta EV.
