All of this This is all accessible via Sky Stream, the brand's latest device that delivers TV and streaming services through WiFi instead of a traditional satellite dish. Sky has recently introduced the new One Touch Switch scheme, which means customers don't have to contact their existing broadband provider to make the switch.
Instead, Sky will do the legwork and contact them on the customer's behalf, reports . It's also worth noting that run for 24-month plan, with the provider stating its prices 'may change' during the minimum term.
Earlier this month, Sky upped its TV and broadband prices by 6.2%, so we may expect a similar rise next April. However, Sky is one of the few providers which allows members to terminate their contract early following the announcement of a price increase.
Sky's Essential TV and Full Fibre 300 deal rivals , which grants access to more than 200 TV channels and 362Mbps fibre broadband for £34.99 per month. However, Virgin doesn't offer Sky Atlantic, Netflix or Discovery+ with this plan.
Many Sky customers have been sharing their positive experiences with the brand on Trustpilot, where one five-star review says: "Sky Stream is a game changer. Switched a few weeks back and it's the best decision I've ever made. Installation takes care of itself, the remote even auto tunes itself to the TV. The best part is though the ability to have a single charge for all your streaming subscriptions."
Another says: "I've been with lots of companies to get my TV and internet but the best service I have received out of them all is Sky. We did change to other companies because of the price but always go back to Sky."
It's not all plain sailing though, as one less-impressed customer said: "I wasn't happy with the service provided by Sky, phoned up to change my deal and was passed around like a parcel. Eventually I got to speak to someone who knew what they were doing. I am happy my issue was finally resolved but took a lot of work."
