Inside Brooklyn Beckham's brother feud as he snubs Romeo's birthday

Brooklyn Beckham’s reported feud with his family has rolled into his little brother Romeo Beckham's birthday, with David and Victoria's eldest son ignored the occasion and instead sharing a cryptic post online.

As Romeo celebrated his 23rd birthday on September 1, he received well-wishes and sweet messages from family and friends, including a heartfelt message from his famous footballer dad. However, older brother Brooklyn opted out of the birthday messages, adding further fuel to the fire on the family's ongoing feud.

David shared a sweep snap of Romeo when he was a child on his social media. Romeo sported a cheeky grin and showed off his baby teeth as David gushed how much he loved him. He wrote: “You are kind, humble, polite, hard working and the most special person to everyone we love you so much, have the most special day HAPPY BIRTHDAY big boy”.

Victoria also uploaded a sweet snap of Romeo from their recent summer holiday and penned: “Happy birthday! You are our everything, we love you so much Your love and kindness fills our hearts every day!”

Little brother Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel also shared their love to Romeo on the special occasion and said: "Love u man. Happy birthday @romeobeckham." Romeo's cousin, Fin Isted, also shared a snap with Victoria's mum, Jackie, alongside the caption: "Happy birthday @romeobeckham. Enjoy brothaa."

Older brother Brooklyn chose not to address the birthday and instead posted a few updates from his life in Beverly Hills with his wife Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn shared that he stopped by wellness spot Pura Vida, where he shared the slogan, 'another day in paradise' along with a snap of two drinks.

The birthday snub is the latest family celebration Brooklyn has ignored, as in recent months, tensions have reached a boiling point for the Beckham family. Brooklyn famously snubbed his dad's 50th birthday celebrations in the UK, despite having already been in London with his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

He also failed to publicly acknowledge David being knighted earlier this year and none of Brooklyn's family was invited to his recent vow renewal with Nicola, which was held on her father's sprawling estate.

Amid the family rift, Romeo and dad David have shown off their close bond and striking resemblance as they shared memories on holiday over the summer.

Over the weekend, David took to his Instagram Stories to share a snap of Romeo posing in his eyewear brand, EYEWEAR by DAVID BECKHAM, along with the caption “Who wore them best?”

He later shared a close-up selfie sporting the same black sunglasses and matching buzz cut, making the pair look almost identical.
