The hustle and bustle of London can be a bit much for some, which is why wellness enthusiast and founder of Hot Haus wild sauna, Kirstie Allen, decided to swap city life for the tranquil island ofGuernseyover a decade ago.
Guernsey, a small but mighty island in the Channel Islands, is just an hour's flight from mainland Britain.
The island boasts 27 stunning beaches, ensuring that you're never more than a ten-minute journey from the sea.

She revealed: "I used to work in the leisure and fitness industry back in the UK and once relocated to Guernseymy love of sea swimming began.
"With the beautiful coastline of Guernsey and such easy access to the sea my thoughts turned to having a sauna by the sea, so islanders could experience the huge benefits of hot and cold therapy and all the health benefits that runs alongside it."
With some of the cleanest waters in Britain and fantastic surfing spots, coastal living on Guernsey is a breeze, reports the Express.
In addition to its beautiful beaches, Guernsey also offers a rich network of walking trails, making it easy for residents to embrace the outdoors and enjoy the island's natural beauty all year round.
Kristie added: "It's a brilliant lifestyle especially for bringing up children as it's safe and outdoorsy, so it is super healthy and a better standard of living.
"Guernsey has given me the opportunity to set up my small business which in turn means I can give something back to the people of Guernsey."

Even better, if Kirstie fancies returning to city life, she's merely a 50-minute flight or three-hour ferry journey from mainland England, giving her the perfect balance of both worlds.
The island is becoming increasingly popular as a relocation destination, with a 52% spike in relocation enquiries over recent months, according to Locate Guernsey - a government agency that champions Guernsey as a top choice for those looking to relocate.
