Gunshots fired into Kamala Harris's Arizona election campaign office

Send Push

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign office in Tempe, Arizona has been targeted with gunfire, police said.

Bullets were fired into the premises in a terrifying late-night attack.

Police say the office, near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive, was targeted just after midnight on Monday, according to Tempe Police.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the attack, but it's another example of the worrying trend of political threats in this presidential election cycle, with former President Trump already being the the victim of two assassination attempts.

Sean McEnerney, Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager, said: "We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured."
