Clarkson’s Farm breakout star Harriet Cowan has suffered an unexpected setback in her brand-new on-screen career, and it's all thanks to some pesky sheep.
The 24-year-old, who announced earlier this summer that she would be launching her own YouTube channel Harriet On The Farm, had promised fans her debut video would premiere at 6pm on Sunday.
But today Harriet revealed that her plans had been thrown off by a last-minute farming drama. She took to Instagram to explain: “UPDATE!!! Due to technical issues (the sheep got out) I haven't been able to upload the video tonight so I'm rescheduling to tomorrow night at 7pm!! So sorry but this is reality of farming!! Take it up with the sheep...”

Her first video, which she previously teased on social media, is expected to be a Q&A introducing fans to her new platform. Harriet confirmed that the full video will now go live on Monday, September 1st at 7pm instead.
Harriet first appeared on Clarkson's Farm in series four, where she stepped in to lend a hand at Jeremy Clarkson ’s Diddly Squat Farm while regular sidekick Kaleb Cooper was away on tour.
Viewers appreciated the Derbyshire-born lass for her down-to-earth personality. Harriet used to work long shifts as a nurse before swapping her scrubs for overalls and spending her free time looking after livestock and land at her family farm.
But after her TV success, she admitted she had caught “the farming bug” and decided to make agriculture her full-time career, while still keeping a foot in the NHS by doing occasional shifts.
She told followers: “It’s true, I am no longer nursing because it appears I got the bug. I’m going to do bank shifts and I’m still going to be working in the NHS, but yeah, just not daily.”
Her YouTube channel will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her daily life with day-in-the-life vlogs, farming tutorials, and appearances from her partner James.
Harriet said she wanted to create an online space that feels “100% positive” and encourages viewers to take an interest in farming. She shared: “I just want it to be a positive environment where people can chat, and ask questions, and learn from it — that’s the base of what I want to do. And then hopefully it’ll grow into something where we’ve got a lovely little community.”
Her social media following has already exploded since her stint on Clarkson’s Farm, and she now has nearly 800,000 TikTok followers and millions of likes on her content.
Earlier this year she poked fun at Jeremy Clarkson after getting to know him while filming the Prime show, joking that he's “got the physique of a farmer”.
She also admitted that she wasn't really familiar with his former motoring career that saw him feature on huge shows like Top Gear and The Grand Tour.
