Professional sword swallower Auzzy Blood left viewers horrified during his audition with his graphic performance, which involved placing a silver meat hook through his nose - and Saturday was no different, as the star went even further for the live semi-finals.

On Saturday, audiences were left "repulsed" as the act hooked a chainsaw through his nose and put huge knives in his mouth. Fans were already predicting Ofcom complaints, as one tweeted at the time: "Ofcom's gonna be busy tonight."

Another shocked fan wrote: "How is this allowed to go out on a family show at 8.15?"

Nudist Akira also took part in the live-semi final in which he performed totally nude, concealing private areas with plates with the judges faces on them.

Neither Auzzy or Akira made it through to the final, with The Blackouts and Vinnie McKee taking the first two places in the live final, expected to take place next month.
