Aimee Lou Wood has a sitcom ready to watch at the click of a button that fans may have missed the first time around.
Aimee Lou Wood shot to fame when she portrayed lovable Aimee Gibbs in all four seasons of 's Sex Education, winning her a BAFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance.
Earlier this year, she took on a very different role when she starred in Netflix’s Toxic Town with Jodie Whittaker and Rory Kinnear, telling the real-life story of babies being born with disabilities after being exposed to toxic waste.

The 31-year-old then caught fans’ attention yet again in the third season of the global hit The White Lotus, portraying the romantic optimist Chelsea, alongside onscreen boyfriend Rick Hatchett (played by Walton Goggins).
While Wood’s is known for these unforgettable shows, there is another series she starred in which fans of hers can stream for free.
Last year, Aimee Lou Woods starred in the comedy Daddy Issues, working alongside The Walking Dead and Sherwood actor David Morrissey.
The official synopsis for the six-part sitcom reads: “Hedonistic 24-year-old Gemma discovers that she is pregnant after a one-night stand and has no other option but to seek support from her crisis-stricken father, Malcolm, and move in together.”
As Woods is, of course, behind pregnant Gemma and Morrissey is starring as her dad Malcolm, the stars are also joined by the likes of Undatable actor David Flynn, My Mad Fat Diary’s Sharon Rooney and Hullraisers’ Taj Atwal.
Daddy Issues is now ready to watch for free on BBC’s streaming service BBC after coming out in full earlier this week.

And despite mostly going under the radar, the comedy has scored a very impressive 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
One critic commented: “A comedy that’s both hilarious and heartfelt is no small achievement”, with another agreeing: “Daddy Issues is daft, honest, funny and tinged with bleakness”.
Meanwhile, a third added: “Thanks to its winning central duo, Daddy Issues feels like a warm hug of a show, but with just enough edge to keep you on your toes.”
So far, only one season is ready to watch but Daddy Issues was given the go ahead for a second season in September 2024 so more should be on the way from Wood and Morrissey.
Daddy Issues is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
