Under the Lakhpati Didi scheme, women from 18 to 50 years of age in the country can apply. However, the benefit of the scheme is given only to those women in whose families no one has a government job.
Under the Lakhpati Didi scheme, women get a loan of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh to start self-employment. The special thing is that they do not have to pay any kind of interest on this loan.
Women who want to take a loan to start a business under this scheme, after joining a self-help group, will have to go to the office of their regional self-help group and submit the necessary documents and their business plan.
After this, their application will be checked. After the investigation, you will be contacted for the loan. To apply for the scheme, you must have documents like an Aadhar card, PAN card, income proof, bank passbook, passport-size photo, mobile number, etc.
