Moeed Khan's bail hearing will be held on October 3

Meanwhile, the bail plea of SP leader Moeed Khan in the case of gang rape of a minor in Ayodhya will be heard on October 3. After hearing the case before Justice Pankaj Bhatia, more time has been sought by Moeed Khan's lawyer. Additional Advocate General Vinod Shahi and AGA Anurag Verma have argued the case on behalf of the government. After this, the next hearing of the case will be on October 3.

What is the Ayodhya rape case?

On July 30, Ayodhya police arrested Moeed Khan, who runs a bakery in Bhadarsa Nagar of Purakalandar police station area of the district, and his employee Raju Khan on charges of gang rape. Police had said that Moeed and Raju Khan gang-raped the minor two months ago and made a video of the entire incident. The incident came to light when the victim was found pregnant in medical examination.
