Last night, a young man named Devi Lal was caught by a python in the darkness of the night in Mathu Gamda Pal village of Sadar police station area. This incident happened when Devi Lal was returning home from the shop at night. Suddenly, a huge python wrapped him in its coils, due to which he got frightened and started screaming loudly.

Hearing Devi Lal's screams, people nearby immediately rushed to help him. The villagers united and tried to separate the python from the young man. The python had completely gripped Devi Lal, making it difficult to free him. But showing courage, the villagers pushed the python back using sticks. People said that the python had opened its huge mouth and started preparing to swallow the young man.

After saving the youth's life, people put the python in a plastic bag and called snake catcher Lalit Shrimal. Lalit caught the python safely and released it in the forest. Locals said that the python was about nine to ten feet long and was extremely heavy.
