Mumbai: 26/11 Terror Attack Survivor Devika Rotawan To Receive Sri Shanmukha Shaurya Ratna Award On Independence Day

Mumbai: The Shanmukhananda Sabha will hold a function on August 15 at 10 am where the Sri Shanmukha Shaurya Ratna Award, 2025, will be presented to Devika Rotawan, who survived the 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

Shot in the leg at the age of nine, she later identified the lone surviving Pakistani terrorist, Ajmal Kasab, during the trial, which resulted in his conviction. Families of military personnel who laid down their lives for the nation and families of fallen civilians during Op Sindoor will also be felicitated.

Maj Gen Satinder Singh, chief of the Canteen Stores Department, will preside, and Brig Gyan Trivedi, station commander, will be the guest of honour
