Raipur: Police investigation in sexual assault and murder case of minor came shrouds under controversy and suspicion starts growing over when father of the victim questions police investigation and said, he knows his brother from childhood and done everything for him and he cannot commit such heinous offence. But he wanted justice, the victim’s father said.
It has been also alleged that police want to save the previous suspect, the car owner. Notably, the body of the child was found in the trunk of the (Dickey) car.
Earlier the victim’s mother demanded that it wouldn't make any difference whether the murder was the victim's uncle or any other body, she only wanted justice and capital punishment for the offender.
Meanwhile, the Congress investigation committee met the victim’s family and neighbourhood and made a statement and said, the victim family members and its relatives were tortured by police in the name of investigation and later on the uncle was arrested as the main culprit of the offence. One minor was also tortured by police in the name of investigation.
Congress MLA Sangeeta Sinha who is a part of Congress investigation team mentioned that police investigation should be impartial and even in the police investigation, even if the brother-in-law should be found guilty he should be hanged.
In the case, Superintendent of the Police Durg Jitendra Shukla said, police are not favouring anybody rather in the police investigation, nothing found in the car.
In the case the government is under tremendous pressure subsequently another incident of molestation occurred where the uncle of a special girl was alleged of molestation, and was badly thrashed by the public.
