Minahil Malik has recently hogged the headlines for the wrong reasons. The Pakistani TikTok faced a huge backlash when an explicit video which allegedly featured her and her boyfriend, began doing the rounds online. Malik recently took to Instagram to address the controversy. However, her cryptic note has now left fans worried.
The note read, "It was not easy for me but I’m done. It’s hard to say goodbye. No fights. Spread love. I’m leaving. I will miss you. I love you. Take care..”
Fans Get Alarmed
The abrupt nature of the note created quite a panic among fans. One Instagram user wrote, “Relax guys... ye 2 din baad wapis yahan e aay gi jhoot bol kr k ap logo k piyar ne mjy wapis any pr majbur kr dy ha. Another urged her to stay strong. “Stay strong, Minahil; don't be sad, and Allah is with you.” Another comment read, “We are no one to judge anyone. Report it to cybercrime and get out of the guilt trip that people are forcing you to have. You are young, beautiful & have a life ahead; learn from your mistakes and move on joyfully.”
Pakistani actress Mishi Khan has also responded to the incident, using social media to express her frustration with influencers who, in her view, use such stunts for notoriety. Although she didn’t specifically name Malik, her remarks were clearly aimed at this controversy. In a video posted on her Instagram, Khan called for an end to what she describes as an increasing trend of vulgarity within the industry.
She likened the situation to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film Heroine, where a similar scandal unfolds, suggesting that Malik’s actions may have been inspired by fictional storylines designed to draw attention. Her video caption read, “It’s shameful to see influencers lowering themselves for fame, bringing disgrace to their families, parents, and society. They should be banned from social media.”
