He explained that limiting their discography to 12 albums allows for better quality control, ensuring that every new track must meet high standards. Staying true to the group's long-standing commitment to eco-friendly practices, Coldplay has taken significant steps to ensure the physical release of ‘Moon Music’ is as environmentally sustainable as possible. According to a statement, each 140g vinyl will incorporate material from about nine recycled PET plastic bottles collected from post-consumer waste. Additionally, the CD version is set to be the world's first Eco CD, made from 90% recycled polycarbonate, also sourced from post-consumer waste.
The group is currently in the middle of their world tour ‘Music Of The Sphere’. The tour is already a smash hit, As per a Billboard Boxscore report, the tour has amassed $945.7 million and sold 8.8 million tickets since its announcement in 2022.
