Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a sweeping attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Sunday rally in Bihar alleging that the prime minister is not only afraid of US President Donald Trump, but also controlled by 'select industrialists'.
"PM Modi not only afraid of Trump, but also controlled by select industrialists," Rahul Gandhi alleged ahead of Bihar Assembly polls. "PM can do anything for votes; tell him to do yoga, he will do few asanas."
Rahul Gandhi claimed all the major decisions of the Modi government, like GST and demonetisation, were "aimed at destroying small businesses and benefiting the big ones".
"Our approach is different. We want to promote the small businesses. We want to replace made in China labels on your phones and T-shirts with made in Bihar," he said.
"Narendra Modi gives speeches, comes, and makes promises, saying he will do whatever you ask until election day. But after the elections, he neither comes to Bihar nor listens to you; he simply leaves. I say, whatever you want done, get it done now," he said.
During his rally in poll-bound Begusarai, Bihar, Lok Sabha LoP Gandhi said, "Our Mahagathbandhan will come to power in Bihar, and we will provide the best education to you."
He claimed that INDIA alliance will open a "university as good as Nalanda University" when it comes to power in the centre. "We will open such a university where students from across the world will come and take admission," he said.
The opposition further alleged that Modi is asking youth to watch reels as he wants to divert attention so that they don't raise questions on unemployment.
Commenting on BJP's policies, he said, "If we form govt in Bihar, it will be a govt for all, not for any particular caste."

"Having a huge chest does not make you strong. Just look at Mahatma Gandhi, who had a frail build but took on the British, who were the superpowers of the time," he said. "On the other hand, we have Narendra Modi with his boast of a 56-inch chest, who got a panic attack when Trump called him during Operation Sindoor, and the military conflict with Pakistan ended in two days," he alleged.VIDEO | Bihar: Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi addressing a public gathering in Begusarai says, "PM Modi is not only afraid of Trump, but also controlled by select industrialists."#BiharElections2025 #BiharElectionsWithPTI
