Popular comedian and actor Jaswinder Bhalla passed away on August 22 at a private hospital in Mohali, following a brief illness, a family friend said. He was 65. As per the reports, the actor had been admitted to the hospital a few days ago after he fell ill. It's a huge loss to the Punjab entertainment industry.

Jaswinder Bhalla's old Instagram post won hearts

Jaswinder is known for his impeccable comic timing and humble personality. Now, a Instagram post of the actor is making rounds on the internet. In the post, the actor shared a sweet experience from his visit to Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. Accompanied by his wife, the actor went to pay homage and spend some quiet time at the holy site.

After offering prayers, Jaswinder sat in the parikarma to soak in the peace of the moment. But soon, fans started recognising him, and within minutes, a crowd gathered around for photos. While the attention from admirers is something celebrities often experience, what happened next made a lasting impression on the actor himself.

Among the crowd, one fan approached Jaswinder not to take a selfie, but to give him a heartfelt compliment. He told the actor that unlike other celebrities who usually visit with a large group of bodyguards and assistants, he found it refreshing and respectable to see Jaswinder sitting alone, peacefully blending in with everyone else. The fan’s words touched the actor deeply.

But the most special moment came from a little girl standing at a distance. She was quietly watching Jaswinder without saying a word. When he noticed her and invited her for a photo, she softly replied that she didn’t have a phone. Moved by her innocence, Jaswinder took out his own phone and clicked a selfie with her.

Since they didn’t exchange any contact details, the actor later shared the photo on Instagram, hoping that someone who knows the girl might help get the photo to her. In his emotional caption, written in Punjabi, Jaswinder called her a “small but very big fan,” and expressed how moments like these remind him of the real love and connection he shares with the audience.
