Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], October 24 (ANI): Union Minister and BJP's election in-charge for Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, took a jibe at the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government over alleged corruption in the state.
The senior BJP leader also slammed the Hemant Soren government stating that the women in the state were not safe.
Speaking to the reporters, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "We can tackle the cyclone 'Dana', but the storm of corruption which has been in Jharkhand for 5 years has destroyed Jharkhand. Women are not safe here", he said.
The Union Minister further stated that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress alliance is a bigger storm than cyclone 'Dana'.

"Corruption has reached its peak, and it is the biggest demon here. JMM and Congress alliance is a bigger storm than cyclone 'Dana'. So if you want to avoid this crisis, you have to uproot the Hemant Soren government and help the BJP-NDA win the elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party has made 5 vows for the development of Jharkhand and for the welfare of the people", he added.
Earlier while speaking at a public meeting in Ranchi's Morabadi Ground, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "The daughters of the state are not safe, and the government is doing nothing. The public will dethrone this government. This is a corrupt government that has done nothing for the youth and the people of the state."

The senior BJP leader further said, "Every day paper leak cases are coming forward. The BJP has taken a pledge to take action against the people who leak the papers. The day we will form the government, we will provide jobs to the youths here. The Hemant Soren government has done nothing for the youth or for women here in the state," Chouhan said.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its first list of 66 candidates for the Jharkhand Assembly elections on Saturday.
The Assembly elections in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23. (ANI)
