In this scheme, a Vatsalya account can be opened in the name of the children, which will be converted into an NPS account after maturity. Parents of any child can open an NPS Vatsalya account of their children by going to the bank or post office or online. The minimum amount in this is thousand rupees.
How many times can you withdraw money
After investing in NPS Vatsal Yojana, you can also withdraw money as per the need. According to the rules of the scheme, it has a lock in period of 3 years. After this, you can withdraw up to 25 percent of the deposited amount for studies or for treatment of any disease or in case of any disability. But you can withdraw money only three times.
